How to set wallpaper on Sony Xperia Tipo

Hi everyone, today i'm going to show you how to set wallpaper on sony xperia tipo. This may sound easy but actually many people frustrated because of this. Any picture you set for wallpaper will be cropped and the result is very ugly.

There's a trick to set wallpaper on xperia tipo correctly, but first let me explain about size of the image you're going to use as wallpaper. As we all know, the screen resolution of xperia tipo is 320 x 480 pixels, and for that the best image size for wallpaper is 640 x 480 pixels.

So if you don't want an ugly wallpaper, make sure the image resolution is 640 x 480 pixels. And for the image format, could be JPEG or PNG. Also make sure the image you're going to use has good detail, the image quality must be good.

Here's step by step how to set wallpaper on Sony Xperia Tipo :

1. copy the image/picture to your phone, put it on the sd card. 
2. open the picture using file browser (astro file manager, or es file manager,or other file manager).
3. it will open "complete action using" dialog, select "Xperia Gallery"
4. on Xperia Gallery, select "set as"
5. it will open "set picture as" dialog, select "Wallpaper Xperia Gallery"
6. drag the rectangle so that it match with the picture.
7. select "save"
